Even in this age of high speed electronic communication, nothing beats the power of beautifully printed text and images. Sadly, good print design based on traditional principles is becoming something of a lost art.
Today's printing is all about making every page count. This doesn't mean cramming your message into the smallest possible area; it means making sure every element, even blank space, works towards your message. We choose fonts, color, images, and stock with great care to assure the most powerful presentation of your material.
We'll escort you through every step of the design and production process, from early conception, to writing, to imagery, to color scheme, to design proofs... all the way through to production.
From hand-operated letterpress to high volume 4-color process printing, we've got your back.

A one page product spec sheet for Tahoe Swim System’s new line of infinite pool systems, part of a series of four intended as walk-away briefers for potential customers. Included are full product details, lifestyle information, and photos. Contact info and website are also prominently displayed.
This is formatted to print well on a conventional home printer or email as a .pdf.

An artist bio onesheet for Los Angeles-based drummer and singer songwriter Tommy Rickard, aimed for review pitching and radio promo. This is made grayscale for quicker emailing, with a white border so it will print properly on a home printer. It is also easily editable by the artist, saving some money down the road.
Included on the sidebar are the elements most reviewers will need at a glance, including record release date, track name listing, and full contact info, plus a picture of the album and its barcode for easy reference (it is easy for the onesheet to get separated from the album itself on a busy reviewer’s desk).

The first in a series of quick glance case studies documenting some very effective SEO and online reputation work by an auto dealer-oriented SEO provider. Auto dealers don’t have patience for long discourses on strategy and results; they want cogent facts and information that allow them to make well informed decisions quickly.
A set of powerful charts runs down the right side, just below an enthusiastic dealership quote, showing quickly how well this strategy has succeeded. Summary graphs at bottom give exact details on ROI. Short descriptions of each stage of the dealer’s strategy lead to the conclusion paragraph at bottom.
This sheet is fitted with margins allowing it to be printed comfortably on any home or office printer without clipping or resizing, or it can be emailed for easy review online.

This advice onesheet, for handing out to spa owners at event and for download by spa owners, was edited down from a much larger piece. It has a basic but clean design scheme that will print fine on a home or office printer.
Many small businesses lack a cogent strategy for gathering positive online reviews, though online reviews factor large in customer decisions. This piece lays out the basic idea and explains the powerful effect that can result.

A radio and booking onesheet for Americana country singer songwriter Sarah Stanley, in support of her new record Tuesday Girl (with art design and photos by Amplitude, shot here in our studio dressing room).
The page elements are laid over a light background of the calendar motif from the record, including bio info, label logos, an album cover shot, release date, contact info, track and time information, a barcode, and a cool quote from the record. The titles echo that of the record cover.
Very useful with radio, record stores, booking, and music supervisors, presenting all the most relevant info in a very attractive package. Can easily be emailed and printed on demand on any normal home/office printer, keeping costs down.

A public safety one sheet to be distributed by a major spa technology resource through day spas, resorts, and salons across the US this month to raise awareness about the dangers of melanoma.
We wrote and designed this in a breezy, women’s magazine style to make it accessible and fun, not preachy. The layout uses an image of a sun smart young girl using sunscreen, a wide column citing common sun myths, stats about cancer, and helpful tips from a noted skin expert who will also be out working the media on this topic. There’s also a promotion at the bottom for special sun sensitive wrist bands that change color in the sun, reminding the wearer to put on sunscreen.

Alt-country chantreuse Lorie Doswell is gearing up for the radio and press campaign behind her new record “Dream Drivin’,” which features photographs and art design by us. The CD was produced by Ed Tree and features a great batch of songs beautifully delivered by her and her crack band.
This one sheet we wrote and designed for her delivers the facts quickly about the record, the players, the production, track info, contact details, and her career as a singer. The design mirrors the ghostly dreamscape of the record artwork, incorporating the road image from the cover.
